Educating law abiding citizens on self defense and new gun owners about shooting is a really important thing right now. :cheers2:

Always good to see more people exercising their RTKABA! Next step is for your friend to get her LTC. The shield is a great gun. Great job, in assisting her, I’m sure she is grateful.

Great job Andy. This is exactly (minus the suppressor) how I teach my "Intro to pistol Shooting" class. Usually one on one (never more than two on one) for about an hour on basics then off to shoot lots of .22 then working up through .380, .38 Spl and finally 9mm. Really wish some of my LTC students would take this course first, then their scores and firearm handling skills would be better.

Well done! When I bring new shooters into our sport I do it very similiarly to you. I cringe when I see the boyfriend bring his girl to the range for her first time and put a bigazz gun in their hands and then laugh when she gets flustered at the percussion.

Great pic, your friend looks like a master!

Well done, Andy! She could not have done better in finding someone to teach her. Keep up the good work. Have you thought of going door to door in your neighborhood? :biggrinjester:
