What happened to NRA Carry Guard training?

#1

Post by mloamiller »

When Carry Guard was first introduced a few years ago, they had a rather extensive 2 or 3 day training class available. They weren't frequent, and were spread out across the nation, so finding one in the DFW area, or even Texas, was a slow process. Now, I can't even find a list of classes on their website. The "browse for classes" links results in a "page not found error."

Discontinued when NY went after the NRA for selling insurance.

Flamed out in a blaze of infamy. Look for the revamped NRA CCW program, run through the NRA Training Program as opposed to the marketing folks, somewhere near you!

My Carry Guard challenge coin will end up being a trivia piece.
