For an IWB holster only, I can not recommend the Crossbreed Super Tuck more highly.

Kusiak makes a great IWB canted leather holster. I've no complaints regarding comfort, retention, and reholstering. Can't speak to longevity, as I've only had it a month, but I'm no stranger to quality leather, and it appears as well made as anything else I've owned.

Savoy has some really cool holsters. Beautiful artwork. I have to restrain myself from buying this one: http://www.savoyleather.com/texas-gonza ... -in-color/

It would force me to buy a nice 1911 to carry in it. I would be homeless if I buy another gun right now

+1 for Alien Gear Holsters. In addition to the AG, I have a couple of custom leather rigs and a Comp-Tac MTAC. The AG Cloak Tuck 3.0 is noticeably more comfortable than any of the other holsters I own.

Also, don't forget the gun belt. Its just as important, if not more so, than the holster.

Alien Gear will give you $15 off their belt if you purchase a holster at the same time, so this would get you both a holster and gun belt for just over $100 with shipping.

I own the belt as well and its pretty nice, especially considering the price.

If it's your preference, get down with it. Personally, I don't run with kydex iwb purely for comfort reasons.

I am a newbie with similar requirements and desire to keep my options open for both IWB and OWB. I also have a few specific requirements: Glock 19 MOS with Vortex Viper Red Dot and Suppressor Sights...

Initially I figured I'd go IWB with occasional OWB, Top pick? http://www.hiddenhybridholsters.com. But would need to add 2 custom orders, one for red dot and the other for suppressor sights at $10 per custom order.

Awhile back I had to borrow a holster for a defensive handgun class taught by Proactive Defense. The holster they loaned me was a DSG Arms Alpha holster. It was well worn, ugly, plain, but solid and functional By the end of the session I fell in love with the DSG Alpha holster. It just works. DSG also comes out of the box designed for red dot and suppressor sights (no extra costs). They just get it. And are Fort Worth based.
