Enjoyed meeting you the other night at the Seminar. Don't be a stranger when you are over this way.

I just found this site from a post on defensivecarry.com and I'm glad I did. There's a lot of good information over here.

Alright, who am I?

I'm a 38yo married guy. My wife and I have two teenage girls and are in the process of adopting an infant son.

I served eight years in the Army as a military linguist and have been working in the field of IT and Information Security for the past nine years.

I moved to Texas from another large state with draconian gun laws about three years ago. I got my CHL as soon as I could when I arrived.

My carry gun of choice is a SIG, but am currently carrying a Glock. I'll be moving back to SIG as I'm currently in the market for a P229 in .40.

I like Comp-Tac holsters, and am particularly fond of the Infidel model. But I've also used the CTAC as well.

Invitation accepted. Besides, if you keep selling these fine revolvers, one of these days, I'm going to have to break down and buy one.

Very nice! I wondered what the S&W he was selling was....By the time I saw his post, you'd laid claim to it and he'd pulled the description off. I need to be faster in future. ;-)

Howdy, neighbor. Maybe I'll see you at the range some time.

We need to get Texas CHL Forumshirts or caps so we can recognize one another.
