OOPS! Humerous fact-check fail.

WildBill, I think you are right that it is a prop gun. If it was a real gun it looks like the bullet would have to go off inside the magazine tube, which would ruin your day.

My first thought was maybe from Fantasy Island! I wasn't far from being correct. I was intrigued by the looks of that rifle and did some digging and finally found it. It's from Adios Sabata and though it's a harmonica gun per the Wiki page it's most likely a prop creation since there are no lever action harmonica guns.DanD wrote:Here is Yul Brynner with a very interesting rifle that takes a side loading magazine. I have never seen this gun before. Does anyone know what gun this is?
"Harmonica guns generally required a cocking action plus a manual advancement of the magazine, hence the lever action in this gun to cock it and the visible position of Brynner's hand to advance the magazine to the next cartridge position." It would be interesting to see it in action. The harmonica magazine appears to be parallel solid tubes. I can't see how the round would be pushed forward into the chamber to be fired unless they are discharged from the magazine but there's no apparent way to align, them much less achieve proper seal.
