Looking for a FFL in my area to receive & transfer a handgun.
Funny thing is.. I don't even know which handgun it is!
It's a gift from my mother in NY, one of my grandfathers' collection that she's passing down to me

I've used Spectre Firearms on Spring-Cypress Road just east of TX249. They are in little strip center just east of Valley Ranch BBQ. Last time that I used them the fee was $35. A friendly bunch of ex-mil guys with a great little shop. (FYI, I do not have any ownership interest, just a customer.)

Thanks for the tip ;) I might have to check them out
I was really hoping for maybe someone on this forum that I could deal with online, up to the actual pickup & payment
FWIW, I'm on the other (south) side of 290.

10ring.com (They used to sell reloading equipment and cleaning equipment mostly, expanded to sell firearms as well. Last time I was in there, they were advertising $20 FFL transfers.)
12779 Jones Road
Houston, TX 77070
Armory Management and Supply Services (Advertised $15 FFL transfers for CHL holders and $20 for non-CHL holders.)
11010 Jones Rd.
Houston, Texas 77070
I haven't dealt with either of them because I haven't had the need for a FFL transfer since I've discovered those two.
I did transfer a Glock through Spectre Firearms @ $35. Really friendly service at Spectre, but they did charge me tax on the $35. Not that an extra 2 dollars rubbed me the wrong way, I just thought it was kind of odd.

Just got off the phone with Armory Management & Supply. Very straightforward, confirmed $15 transfer with CHL. Gave info, they said they'd take care of it and call me when there was any info received or needed.
It's going to be shipped to me tomorrow, so I should have it early next week!
I'll let everyone know how the transaction goes once I pick it up!
I was always worried about all the extra work needed for a FFL transfer, mainly because I've never done one. If it's really this easy, and everything goes quick and simple, oh boy.. classicarms and other related sites will be hearing from me a lot!
