My second transfer with the guys at DefCon and it could not be easier or more of a pleasure. The staff is very professional and courteous and are great to talk to. Their $20 transfer fee for Texas CHL Forum members is a good deal plus you get to check out what they have in stock. Just another update!
As always the staff at DefCon are awesome. I've been to the shop numerous times and even introduced 2 other customers.
I'm constantly recommending them to friends.
I took in a handgun and had them install new sights on it for me and did a great job and were quick.

I did my first transfer with DefCon in early August (XDM 40SW 5.25 Bi-Tone) and what everyone says is true. These guys are very friendly and quite knowledgeable. Process could not have been easier. I was in & and out in less and 30min. Today, I placed another order online (Hi-Point 4595TS Carbine) and again am using DefCon as my FFl. Dealer has already sent confirmation of shipment and should get it by next Wednesday. Can't wait.

Good Morning everyone. This past week I decided to go ahead and purchase a new toy from an FFL Dealer in Dallas. So, I started on my hunt for a reliable FFL dealer in Houston that wasn't asking $60.00-$85.00 with a straight face to handle my transfer.I sent out emails, did searches and was just about to give up for the day when I jumped on TXCHL. I couldn't find a bad thing said about the guys at DefConGuns so, I was sold. On top of that I noticed just being a member here saved me $5 making my transfer now $20. I owe a big thanks to the very polite staff, everything went quick and smooth so, without a doubt they have a new customer. If you're on the fence about where to go for advice, merchandise or an FFL Transfer you can stop looking. Whether you're an avid shooter or new to the gun world when dealing with firearms you want to feel comfortable. I would like to give a special thanks to Maurice(USA1) and KinnyLee for calling me the second my Transfer made it in. I know I will be seeing the guys at DefConGuns in the future.
