Instructor Certificate Update

#1

Post by twomillenium »

I just checked the progress of my certification and all was green with the last statement stating that "Certification Issued".

Application : Received
Affidavits : Received
DL or ID : Valid
Citizenship : No documentation required
Fee : Received
Background Check : Completed
Certificate : Issued

Whew! I guess that means I passed the test.

:iagree: I say take what you can get!
I have to admit it was better than driving to Austin and hearing them say, "I don't know, someone else will have to answer that." (Usually that means ask an active instructor)

Or listening to other 'instructors' ask questions that make you wonder how they were ever certified in the first place.

All in all, pretty painless this time despite a few miscues from our good friends at RSD.

They should have an open bar at the next Austin session. Make it really entertaining.

Check your certificate when you get it I got mine yesterday has wrong expiration date still shows 12/31/2019 instead of 2021. I sent them an email but will probably have to call them next week. Just knew something would go wrong just too easy this time around.

Thanks for heads up, I like to think I would catch that. Big difference in like and will. I am expecting the School Safety Certification also, I understand it is being renewed with the Instructor renewal.

Status just changed on mine this morning to Certificate Issued. Will be checking to see that LTC and SSCI BOTH arrive as well as expiration dates. Had to email exam instead of upload because RSD website told me PDF file for exam was too large.

Another renewal complete :anamatedbanana

I'm starting to get rather jealous here. Evidently every other instructor in San Antonio has someone to qualify with so I haven't even gotten the LTC-100 out of the way.
