I renewed and sent in NRA certs months ago.

I know they have my correct email address.

I got the email forwarded to me from another instructor friend.

Me too. This does not bode well. I can only hope they echo all email communications with snail-mail, as that has been the only official communications to date. My status STILL says they are waiting for required documents even though I have sent everything TWICE electronically, and once via return receipt s-mail.

The last email I received from DPS was about four or five months ago asking for CHL 90. Haven't even received an acknowledgement from DPS that they received my email.

I went online, submitted and paid the $100 for instructor renewal etc. Logged off went back on to submit my application for CHL renewal and was not allowed too. (Application in process?) I'll try to contact DPS if that's possible.

From DPS e-mail last week (that I DID) receive: "Another email will be forthcoming in the next week to everyone who has submitted renewal applications. The email will indicate if any additional items are required or if the application is complete." Underlining is mine.

Did anybuddy happen to get anything from them THIS week ?

I received NOTHING from DPS. My certificate expires this year.
I received NO notification that my certificate expires this year, luckily I knew that for myself.
I received NO new email such as some of you received.
My address, email address, etc. have not changed since I got my certificate.
I have zero confidence in DPS to contact me about anything.

God's forgotten, the soldier slighted.

I just received the below message from DPS. I guess I am still in their books. It looked like SPAM because of the sender and subject:

I had a hard time uploading our supporting documents, as every time I tried, I got a message that the mailbox was full. Finally got them in last week, but have not received any confirmation at all.

Would like to attend DFW class, but if it's after november, maybe I better make more timely plans...

I just got the email too. I signed up for the Houston, October 22 class. (I live in west Houston) This just proves that DPS likes the Texans better than the Cowboys. :smilelol5:
