When did you all apply?
See one from December.

Sent in my app in march, so guess sometime around fall I may get an invite.

I applied October 18, 2012, got in the April 1, 2013 class.

Applied in late January 2013, got in the April 2013 class. I must have been lucky. But I only got in because there were people ahead of me who couldn't make the April class. Had about 1 1/2 weeks notice. Some in my class had been called 2 days before.

Just got home from June 3-7 Instructor course. The DPS range was really nice and impressive, the turning targets did not seem to present any problems, in fact I liked them better than a noise maker. We were told that DPS cannot make any changes until all laws effecting CHL have been signed or vetoed (there were still some that may be readdressed during special session). Also all classed taught must follow the guidelines that are in place at the time class was held. A very enjoyable but long class, glad I was able to attend.
Texas LTC Instructor, NRA pistol instructor, RSO, NRA Endowment Life , TSRA, Glock enthusiast (tho I have others)
