Convertred Instructor Pamphlet for Printing Booklet

#1

Post by lrb111 »

After downloading the new "Instructor Pamphlet 2009-2010" pdf file, I converted it to print the smaller booklet style we are familiar with. ( http://www.bookletcreator.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ) Then I uploaded the newly formatted PDF to my Google Documents site. I have set it to share with anyone that has the link to download it. It is 1.4mb, so it's not too large even at dial up speed.

If you would like to make some booklets here is the link. It may require you have a Google account, I don't know. It is simple and free to register. Be my guest.

http://docs.google.com/fileview?id=0B-P ... ZTVm&hl=en" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Since it will now only require one sheet of paper for 4 pages of the previous pdf file, it will require 18 sheets of paper to print.
The pages will be printed on one side first (odd numbers), then flipped over in the tray and run the even pages.

Make sure the pages are collated properly in a stack. You can simple staple the center if you have a stapler that will reach to the center fold.
However, the stack of papers can be taken to Staples, Office Depot, etc. to make a spiral bound book. They can cut the stack, punch the holes for a spiral binder, add a plastic cover, and even add extra blank pages to the back for notes. There are more options, just ask.

I think I paid under $5 for the last ones I had done. Having a spiral bound book that lays flat is way better than juggling that stapled thing. Looks more professional also.
I'll try to post a pic later.

Hope it works for you.

Larry

There's a problem It is printing much too small. Let me see if I can resize it.

lrb111 - Thanks for converting the booklet, but I was wondering if you could make an attachment or email it to me. I already have too many internet accounts. Thanks.

Sorry folks I cannot improve it.. In fact, I'm going to have the book made up from full size pages printed on both sides, and then spiral bound. My eyes are just not good enough to read 6 point font. :oops:

garcia if you can increase the print size% in your advanced printer settings that might get you there. But, I would only be guessing.
