This isn't my gun, I just found this photo on the Internet. I'm going to have a 1911 engraved, so I did a search for engraved guns to get some ideas. I don't even recall where I found it.

Use an image editing program to resize the image.

As an aside, here is a link to a site that has a lot of good tips and information about images and posting images,

I don't understand how to link the pics saved on my PC to be viewable the way ya'll describe. Could anyone give a little more detailed info for a Forum Newbie who's not too computer literate?

You have to upload them to a picture site first. Then check out my first post.

Here's a place to go to upload your pics.

I wish I had a story and I wish it was mine, but it's only a photo I found on the Internet. I've always wanted an engraved pistol or two, so I saved photos of a few engraved guns just to get some ideas.

When American Handgunner did a cover photo and full multi-page article on the editor's fully engraved Caspian, I called Adams & Adams Engravers to talk to them about doing a gun for me. At the time, they were covered up with work generated by the AH article. It's about time for me to call them again and send them one of my 1911's. It's not cheap, but it's not as expensive as I would have thought. I'm not going to get full coverage like the one in AH either.

Regards,
Chas.
