Consider driving the speed limit. 100 miles at 80 MPH saves 11 minutes over the same trip at 70 MPH. To me, 11 minutes more to think and ponder is like money in the bank.
Also, it's not just whether or not you are safely in control of your vehicle, it's what the other guy is going to expect of you.
Yeah, yeah, you think I drive like a little old lady, but I've got a wild side, too. Got a speeding ticket back in the 70's, and then a second one about five years ago. I'm looking forward to my third ticket. I'd like to live that long.
Got my first one in 1969(80/55(Night limit in Oklahoma at the time)). Got my second one in 1997(85/70). Likely that I won''t get another.
