Gotcha. I ASSUMED you were referring to the degree program. My bad.nightmare69 wrote:jmra wrote: I don't believe you are using the correct abbreviation for an associates degree. At least that's not the 3 letters I would want at the end of my name.

Re: Police Academy Adventures
Good luck to you! I'm more than a little envious as LE is something I've wanted to do for years but my career ended up going elsewhere.
I have a friend who is an instructor at your academy and it sounds like a great place that cares a great deal for their students.

Most if it will be online but you will have to come in for arrest search and seizure and crime scene investigation. The ASS will be taught by the lead prosecuter for Gregg county and Texas ranger out of Palestine(Ronnie something) who teaches crime scene investigation to the Texas rangers will teach that part of the course. I would get 24hrs for going through the academy and would only have to get another 36hrs to get my degree. This is all if the college board approves this Monday evening, I hope they do.
The central texas college also has a fast track program for leo's. Leo's can also receive free tuition in state institutions to achieve this goal.

I hope it passes cause I may go for it.
I can get 10 extra bonus points on penal code test next week if I define what Malicious Hibauchery is. This is apparently not something you can just google or get off Wikipedia. They want the Texas law definition. I've looked but cannot find a good definition, maybe some of the lawyers on this site could help. Malicious Hibauchery.

The only place I find anything is the Urban Dictionary. There it's spelled Hybauchery and it's the act of doing something illegal. It's not listed in my wife's Webster's Unabridged, so that makes me wonder about the purpose of this assignment.

No one can find it. I'm starting to think they told us this to mess with us. For 10 points though I'll keep looking. Thanks for the urban dictionary.

Most likely, it's a typo.

So "Malicious Hibachery" must be serving up undercooked meat or something....
