GOP just tried to push debate on 3rd reading bills to tomorrow. Will re-consider that at 1:45pm. Until then, continuing on w/ debate #txlege
There are 2-3 dozen 3rd reading bills House has to get thru today. If they vote not to delay debate, could kill #campuscarry, et al #txlege

One hour notice given for the motion to suspend house rules on bills scheduled for third reading. Resuming hearing bills for third reading until then, currently on SB208 on supplemental calendar.

Motion to suspend the rules fails. Looks like they will continue hearing senate bills for third reading.

That's what I thought too, but when I looked it up, it's not him. Not sure who that was.

With that motion to suspend rules failing, is campus carry all but dead? You would thing they can easily run the clock out now.
