He won't get invited to the backyard barbecues, his emails and phone calls won't be returned, he'll eat alone in the cafeteria, etc. Documents he leaves to be copied or printed will get "lost," they'll "forget" to invite him to meetings, all kinds of things. You tick these people off, they can get very, very nasty.
I was on the phone and had to turn down the volume. What was he pulling now?

An amazing piece of "feminine hygiene-ery".

Amendment 17 was withdrawn with little fight - why submit something if its not worth fighting for,

And did I see Strickland re-enter the picture?

Are you talking about Huberty or BlueMerle? :biggrinjester:

It was a bad amendment and would weigh down the bill too. Certain groups should not have special rights above the rest of us.

The answer is 'no, LEO do not have the ability to just stop anyone seen with a open carried gun'. That came across as a little weasely.

That answer would have given support to the amendment. Phillips correctly said HB910 doesn't change current law on that issue.

There's already a bill that addresses that: HB198 (Huberty)

Yeah, I had a typo, which was obviously caught and fixed before you could even post. "Strickland" isn't a typo

I know. You could tell he was struggling. He came off sounding like double talk. He cant give the real answer and the other guy knew it.
It is a quandry for LEOs. Who do you stop? Unless you have cause then you cant. So the temptation will be to imagine probable cause where there is none.

Meh.... it was meant to convey what a jerk he was. While I'm honestly surprised that anyone was offended, it takes nothing to apologize.

Gotta love how the Democrats try to push the "local control" hypocrisy charge. Local control does not and should not apply to civil rights. Or do Democrats suddenly think cities should have the ability to ban abortion clinics?
