Rude guy for 910 - no respect for committee member Navarez - Says me and many gun owners were disgusted by what happened to you though.
Ugh.

He is yelling at them and was incredibly disrespectful. He should have been excused.TVGuy wrote:Rude guy for 910 - no respect for committee member Navarez - Says me and many gun owners were disgusted by what happened to you though.

I didn't get his name, but the current guy talking about how he fired three rounds at a fleeing cell phone thief isn't helping the cause.

I will give him some credit for apologizing to Navarez at the end.CoffeeNut wrote:He is yelling at them and was incredibly disrespectful. Yeah, guy with the cowboy hat? And his racism was showing....Anytime someone acts like they just cant be bothered to properly pronounce someone else's name...'Mr. Whatevertheheckitis', he says. Listen, you think you're a COWBOY? Can you pronounce 'Vaquero'? Learn some history, show some respect. Texas belongs to us all.
Sorry for the rants!

Here we go with the "gun violence" drivel.
Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence. - John Adams

I think this teacher says he won't teach again if campus carry passes. Did I get that right?

Sounds like a win-win to me.....TVGuy wrote:I think this teacher says he won't teach again if campus carry passes. Did I get that right?

He said he would be afraid to give a grade below a "B" again.
I'd like to point out that to get a license, unless a veteran you need to be 21. That means, that most likely 75% of students will not be eligible to carry either way. Regarding experimentation of students with drugs and drinking, so campuses are admitting students are breaking the law at under 21 years of age. I believe that any student who is 21 and wants to carry is going to be responsible.

I heard that he'd give me a B+ at worst if he saw my openly carried firearm.TVGuy wrote:I think this teacher says he won't teach again if campus carry passes. Did I get that right?

I'm more than a little tired of hearing professors lie about how tough college life is and the alarmingly high rate of nut jobs on campus. I would love the opportunity to sit on the committee and cross-examine these folks.
