HB308

I see that there has no movement on this excellent bill. Is there no support for it or is there some larger strategy in the works?

Opinions please.

Nothing secret in the works. It's being stalled.

Mr. Cotton,

Stalled by committee members or by bill author? Are you considering a CTA on this bill?

Thank you

This is unknown. No CTA is planned yet; we need to see what's going on first.

This is very disappointing. HB308 is much more important than any of the bills being advanced right now. I was afraid the OC thing would suck up so much attention and argument that it would allow more important bills to be quietly slow-rolled.

I need to modify my answer to your question. There's no way Rep. Springer is delaying this bill; he strongly believes it's the right thing to do. I have my suspects, but I can't say because I'm not sure.

I've been watching this bill as well. It's regrettable its being stalled. I'm on board with whatever needs to be done to get this bill untracked. I agree this bill is more important than any other on the agenda. Since I'd rather see our carry ability expanded and the 30.06 decriminalized this bill approaches that goal.

I'm with you there. I am all for regaining the rights we have lost due to poor legislation. For the last decade we have been slowly going forward in the terms of our 2nd Amendment rights. I would hate to see this bill stuck in committee.

Could 308 be added in as an amendment to the House CC bill?

Is there anything we can do to get this bill moving? I hate seeing this bill stalled.
