I have to admit, I was stereotyping, but I did not expect the blind woman to come out in favor of campus carry ! :hurry:

(insert appropriate Austin landmark by UT if needed)
Some of the opponents' comments sound to me like they're against concealed carry period. On or off campus.
Life is good.

I realize that. It was sarcastic. That's what the "hhhhmmmmmhhhhmmmmm" indicated.

I never realized how scared Anti's sound. The last lady thinks that switching from concealed to open carry would all of sudden make us unsafe.

That chick:
We don't need 800,000 people carrying! [timer beeeeeeep]
We already have 800,00 people carrying, lady!
Keep calm and carry.

They see no advantage to having guns on campus. Other than lower crime numbers and less victims, I guess he means. So much straw in these anti-'s arguments I could feed a ranch full of horses for a year.

Unfortunately most are simply looking for their 15 seconds of fame and are truly looking for their time in the limelight IMO.

But they aren't sitting next to a gun. Heaven forbid open carry passes because THEN there would be a gun there!!! Run for the hills!

Yes, they are probably sitting next to a gun. Concealed carry is allowed there.

My comment was directed at the entire premise of the anti's that this bill will magically introduce more guns into the public realm rather than just making them visible.

EDIT: I have a poor habit of way too much sarcasm in my written posts... Haha
