About to go pick up a Bersa Thunder .380. What holster....

Are all the Bersa Thunder owners using? I have a crossbreed supertuck for my Taurus 24/7 but was thinking with the Bersa being much smaller and lighter I don't need a full size crossbreed to support its weight. I got a pocket holster in the deal from Desantis which i don't know if I will use it because I wear jeans too tight.

Owned one of these for a short time and it rode well in a HighNoonHolsters.com "Split Decision" ...

Good holster at a decent price. The $100+ horsehide version would probably ride even better, but for that price I'd go with a Crossbreed type.

Thanks for the input austinrealtor. If you don't mind me asking, What was the reason to get rid of the Bersa? Just wanted a change, or some sort of problem with the gun?

No problems. It is an excellent gun, very accurate for its size, and one which I highly recommend to folks who want a smaller semi-auto with the full pleathora of controls - hammer-fired (instead of striker), safety (and decocker too, right?), even a S&W-style internal lock if you choose to use such things. Plenty of folks are still uncomfortable with Glock-type actions and this is a solid pistol that works for many people.
I however prefer Glocks and revolvers, so I sold my Bersa and picked up a Walther PPS, which works on a Glock-type action, is same basic size as Bersa, fires the more potent 9mm round, but cost twice as much.
So the PPS plus a S&W J-frame revolver sorta make the Bersa redundant in my particular arsenal.

Yep, they have a de-cocker on them. No fault to you for preferring Glocks. They make a great firearm. I saw your post about the J-Frame Smith you picked up. Congrats on that purchase/trade.

Our Bersa operates exactly like a Beretta FS (we even call it 'baby and big brother'). The Bersa has excellent sights. I found a Minotaur felt perfect with it.

So, it's a rolling firing pin type? I like that feature on my 92FS. That's an added bonus I suppose.

Got almost 350 for target use. Then 20 for personal defense.

I'm not the most technical but I believe so. They sure look the same when I field strip them.
OT: If heaven is field stripping a 92FS, then a Ruger .22 pistol is its evil counterpart...

Haha Ruger .22 is like a Rubix Cube? Sp? Those are way before my time.
Just picked it up and it is just like a 92FS.

Lucky thing was that I purchased the ammo with the gun!

Congrats on the Bersa shortysboy09
I just picked one up myself. The Bersa Thunder is a great gun. This will be my second one.
You should consider the Crossbreed Supertuck if this is going to be carried.
The Bersa is small and thin, but it's not light.

I noticed that USA1. Unloaded the slide feels pretty heavy. Very nice gun though. Im very pleased with what I got. I will probably end up with a SuperTuck because I'm already used to wearing one and they deserve repeat business for the quality product they put out. Plus, Lifetime Warranty is hard to beat!
