I am in the market to purchase a holster and mag. pouch and came across
"Kirkpatrick Leather" on the net. I like thier prices but am not familiar with the product.
Does anyone have exp. with their products on how well they are made and hold up?

No experience with Kirkpatrick Leather, but I too have been looking at their stuff on the web. But I just went to the Market Hall Show and ran into these folks, who I've never seen there before:

Got a holster/belt/mag cowhide combo for $125 and it is VERY nice. The lady does most of the work on the holsters. They are nice people to deal with, you might want to give them a look.

I can't speak the thier holsters, but Rafter S Gunleather makes a top quality belt. I can't imagin that thier holsters are anything but top notch. One of the really nice things about the belts is that they have 7 holes instead of the more common 5. The holes are spaced a bit closer which lends itself to more adjustability, thus more comfort. After that good dinner you can release it one hole and you pants and gun will stay put.

I have a Kirkpatrick OWB high rise black leather holster with thumb break for my Glock 23, it is like brand new and I am trying to sell it in another ad here for $30.00.... was $60.00 new.
Good solid holster, I just prefer the Galco more.

I've bought many holsters from Mike Kirkpatrick over the years and have been very satisfied. My favorite OWB daily carry holster is a Kirkpatrick Compact Under Cover.
Kirkpatrick holsters aren't in the same category as very high end custom holsters but neither is the price. The are very serviceable, long lasting and function very well.

Thanks for the reply's!
I ended up ordering and recieving the "Texas Strong Slide" complete rig which includes a belt, holster, and double mag pouch. I am pleased with the quality considering the price. I don't think that I will be able to "conceal" my pistol very well but I'm still going to use this rig for IDPA.
I also purchased a Kydex paddle holster from "Comp-Tac". I like the cant a bit better and esp. like the way it rides on my hip.
Unfortunately I'm learning the hard way($$$) thru trial and error and to what's actually "concealable" and whats not. I'm now trying to decide what holster to purchase for true concealed carry. It def. has to have a "FBI" cant to it or I wont be carrying my Kimber Pro CDP!

I met Mr Kirkpatrick at a state IDPA match. Super nice guy and I was impressed he was a shooter and used his gear. I am going to order an OC holder from him for my new duty belt.
