XDS - looking for IWB recommendation
A new Springfield XDS .45 followed me home yesterday.....
Shot one of the test guns at Bullet Trap, and really liked it. So, about 15 minutes later, a new one went home with me.
This will become my new EDC, replacing my Kel Tec PF-9. That has primarily been in a Galco USA-2 IWB holster, but they don't make one for the XDS.
I've got a couple Crossbreed Super Tucks for larger guns, but would like something along the line of the Galco USA-2, with a single belt clip. Kydex would be fine, but I do like the leather instead of plastic next to my skin.
Thought I'd see what other XDS carriers might recommend.

Cross Breed, Old Faithful, Kholster, CompTac, You take choice and pay your price. All of those are great IWBs.

I'm looking for a single clip for mine as well. I don't know your style but I found this one from high noon holsters that I'm considering. It even gives you the option to tuck your shirt in between the holster and the clip. I haven't got a holster for mine yet but this high noon holster looks like quality!

Take a look at VERSACARRY, very interesting, just order two of them one for my XDS and one for my LC9.

Let us know how that works out. I'm somewhat skeptical.chaney66 wrote:Take a look at VERSACARRY, very interesting, just order two of them one for my XDS and one for my LC9.

Yeah, I'm thinking that I don't want to carry with anything that doesn't provide trigger protection. That's just me....jmra wrote:Let us know how that works out. I think just about any single clip holster will work for this gun. I'm using one from a Glock that it so happens to fit in.

My next question with that style holster is how would you re holster without removing the assembly from the belt? I don't feel like having to remove a holster from my belt if I have to go into the kid's school just to replace the holster when I return to the car. It just doesn't seem practical at all for me... that could just be me though.

Seems like an expensive holster. Think you'll get a nicer holster for less money from Zlogonje GunleathersMx217 wrote:I'm looking for a single clip for mine as well. Also picked up an XDS last week. Saw it at my local Academy and the guy said it hadn't been on the shelf 2-hrs.
I've been doing some research and it looks like Crossbreed is a popular option. Also heard about Theis Holsters. Decisions Decisions.
