IWB for LCP?
I'm looking for a holster for my new LCP, he put a crimson trace laser grip on it, love it...but now I can't find a holster for it.
I like that I can carry it in my purse if I choose to wear something light, but but if I want to wear on body, I really prefer to wear IWB...I'm a fairly small woman, a pocket holster isn't really going to work in my pockets.
any recommendations?

Re: IWB for LCP?
I had to chuckle when I read the title of this thread because if I personally carried an LCP IWB, I might not be able to find it when I need it. Of course, for a smaller person like the OP, it is a valid option.

I carry mine in a Crossbreed Micro Clip from time to time when pocket carry isn't feasible.... It works well and is very comfortable....

OP, where are you located? I've actually made a few holsters for my LCP+CT. If you're in Austin area, be happy to show you how or even help you make one.

I'm in Schertz, just north of San Antonio, I'm hoping to make it to the Lockhart meet-up.
right now, I'm leaning toward the microClip or the Mini-Clip....those look interesting.

Cool .. if I can make it for that, I'll try to remember to bring one of my homemade LCP holsters with me for show and tell.SewTexas wrote:I'm in Schertz, just north of San Antonio, I'm hoping to make it to the Lockhart meet-up.

Re: IWB for LCP?
Crossbreed sent me the MicroClip and the Minituck for me to review with my LCP, I like the MiniTuck better so far but will be reviewing when I've had time to break them in. When I review them, I will be giving one of each away on my blog.SewTexas wrote:I'm in Schertz, just north of San Antonio, I'm hoping to make it to the Lockhart meet-up.

Re: IWB for LCP?
The only knock I had on the Microclip was that since it had only a single clip, it would sometimes "swivel" and place the LCP handle below my belt. Made for a cumbersome and difficult draw.

Re: IWB for LCP?
I bought a clipless IWB holster from the local Academy store for my LCP w/CrimsonTrace laser. The holster is one of those that has a band of rubberized material sewn around it to provide grip inside your pants. The pistol fits well in the holster but I'm a bit worried that the small band of rubberized material isn't enough to really secure it in place very well.
I also just bought a Remora holster for my new M&P9c and the entire outsides of this holster is the grippy rubberized material. When you stick this thing inside your pants, it hangs on extremely well and doesn't budge at all no matter how much you move or even jump around.
I'm going to order a Remora holster for my LCP this week.
Being a new CHL holder, it's still pretty weird getting used to the idea of carrying around a loaded pistol stuck down my pants, and the M&P9c is definitely large enough that it's an extra weird feeling, but based on what I've noticed about how well the Remora holster stays in place, I'm betting that the little LCP inside a Remora will be secure and will be very easy to grow accustomed to carrying.
