I usually carry a Heckler & Koch USPc in .40 S&W in a Comp Tac FBI paddle 8) (recently upgraded).
Sometimes an H&K USPf in .45ACP in a Bladetech 8)
Always at least one spare mag. I have DeSantis single mag pouch's for both size mags and double kydex mag holders for each size also.
Ammo for the 45 is 230 grain Win SXT's or Rem. Golden Sabre.
The .40 gets 165gr. Gold Dots

Carry a glock .45 G30 when I can dress around it. Otherwise I carry a Kahr PM9. Even carry my S&W model 13 w/3" barrel (.357) sometimes.
Holster depends on where I'm going:
Church = Smartcarry
Work = usually Smartcarry
Casual = OWB Don hume JIT Slides
IWB RM holster low rider
Kangaroo holster (kinda like a shoulder holster (under shirt )
Too many others to mention.

I carry mailny a Kel-Tec as it is light and small with one extra mag. When my husband is out of town I carry either a Kimber Ultra, Steyr M9, or Steyr S9. I carry them in a very small Perlina purse. The purse designer very thoughtfully put in a convenient easily accessed compartment which makes this non-concealment purse very CHL friendly. This small purse does not telegraph in any way.
Yup! But you knew that already... :)Bubba wrote:I'm just curious if anyone carries handcuffs or other type of restraint.

Four days a week for ten hours a day, I carry a Glock 20 and handcuffs. When I am outside those hours I usually carry a Kimber Stainless w/ a trigger job by Vanden Berg, in an OWB TR rig with the mag pouch, and belt.
I also carry an HK P7M13, trigger work by Actions by T, in a Matt DelFatti hoster with mag pouch and belt from the same maker.
If I am going to a school or somewhere that I don't care if someone sees me carrying, I'll wear my Glock 20 in a DelFatti belt, hoster, and mag pouch rig all done in shark skin. My wife says I look like a pimp--but what does she know?

If I'm feeling well armed I've got my USP45f in a fobus paddle holster, with 2 spare magazines, a surefire e2e... and my AR-15 with a couple mags in my trunk.
But more of the time I've got my SIG p232 in a fobus paddle holster with 2 spare mags. Preferrably with surefire e2e, folding knife, and CS spray.
Have been planning to get an XD40 to replace the SIG for a while now, although my new house has just been draining my pocket dry for the last year. :(

I carry a Colt Officer Model, usually in a Galco Undercover holster. When it is too warm to wear clothing to cover the OM, I carry a .380 Colt Government model in my front pocket. If I am going into an area that I might have to use the .380, I just don't go. :? Or, I might just find a way to carry the .45.
I've not yet got around to buying a super flashlight as I am usually home well before darkness catches me.
I also carry a small pocket knife. Longest blade is 2" long. All three blades are kept very sharp.(Think razor) I don't really have to get into the hollow, just make them hurt and bleed.

It seems that the older I get, the better I used to be.

Usually have my Walther P99C in a PagerPal. No need to untuck shirt or wear a jacket. Other times my Kimber Classic in a Beltster from http://www.banderagunleather.com
I recently upgraded my holster to a Comp-tac CTAC.

I pack light. I carry a Glock 22 (15+1 rounds of .40 S&W) in a FIST kydex OWB holster. I generally don't carry a spare mag or flashlight on my person. I figure if I can't get it done with 16 shots then I'm in trouble anyway. That said, I have a combination mag/flashlight holster that I keep in the console of my truck with a spare mag and a Surefire 6P. Occasionally I'll slip it on my belt just for giggles, but it generally stays in the truck.

Kimber compac CDP w/ an 8 rd mag. It extends one round past the butt plate but no prob w/ cover. 2-ten rd wilson combat mags & pepper. For me a knife is a tool. I have no training & am better off w/ out one.
Carry 24-7 or guess right.
