Still, that's a very fair price to the lucky taker. Unfortunately for me, my gun budget has been vaporized for a while.....

Yeah. What sux is that I'm making a whole $20 on the sale and the state makes $66.57.

This is why most FFLs go out of business in less than 3 years, the margins on selling firearms is extremely low.

Ah, yes. Turns out I was listing that below my cost once I factored in my shipping and inventory costs. That window of opportunity has passed now that I'm a little wiser

One thing's for sure: I know that I will _never_ be able to compete with Bud's. They're like the Wal-Mart of the gun world.

Thanks for the clarification. I shot my buddies Sig Scorpion, it was very nice and ran like a 1911 should. Like I said, if I had the cash...

925.57 :tiphat:

$25 would probably do it. It would probably cost a little more, but I have a policy of never trying to "make a buck" when shipping firearms that people buy from me. Some dealers, sadly, try to stick people with insane "shipping and handling" prices.

Actually, if you have an FFL you work with that's near 35 in the Alvarado/Burleson area, and they're open on Saturday, I'll be up in that area this Sat (22nd). You can pre-pay and I'll drop off with the FFL. That will save you the shipping costs :)

No FFL I use in that area.

I'm not crazy about that rail. Recently sold a Scorpion because of it.
Let me break open the youngest son's piggy bank and check the couch cusions to see how many pennies I can scrounge.

I hear ya. I had a non-railed version that had 3 mags instead of 2 mags and a laser. It didn't stay long. Some folks just don't like the "non traditional" look of the rail.

While the asthetics is part of it, using the gun for IDPA or 2/3 gun I can't use the laser and afraid of the rail hanging up when reholstering.

Thanks, but I did finally find a non-railed version at a similar great price.
It's a great gun for a great price ... it won't last long.

The laser is just an attachment, it's not permanently on the gun. It's actually a great pistol for single stack IDPA. That's why I'm keeping one
