Bought new rifle and selling my old dependable, and accurate, Savage 110, 30-06 caliber, pre-Accutrigger (trigger is very light and crisp) with almost new Leupold 3X9 40mm Rifleman Scope. Stock is beautiful. There is a little scarring where front sight was removed (?).
I paid over $200.00 just for the scope in 2010. Price includes case and sling.
Asking $450.00 (prefer local buyer to avoid shipping)

Where are you located?
Also, is the stock symmetrical or is there a raised cheek piece? Looking for south paw friendly.

Sorry I left out my location. I live in Frisco, Tx a northern suburb of Dallas.
As for the stock, there is a name for the type of raised cheek part of the stock but I can't think of it right now (I'm sure one of the many gun experts here will know) but as the picture shows it is somewhat raised. I am right handed and it works well for me. I guess as a lefty you have had to lern to adjust to many situations and I commend you for it. This rifle is very accurate I can show you pictures of the targets when I zeroed in the new scope. I've never shipped a rifle (I have shipped pistols to S & W for repairs) but if you live out of the area we can work out a deal on shipping costs.

Can you post or send a picture showing the opposite side of the stock and the damage near the front sight?
