It looks like he's just starting out. The holster picture that you posted looks very nice, but his website isn't very user friendly and there is no gun list.

Yeah he isn't very web savvy. Just contact him to request more specifics but compact Glocks and possibly sub-compact Glocks should be no problem.

Very nice, Dom. My last two were a Comp Tac and a similar style to the one you posted but from Shielded Holsters. His quality looks fantastic.

Lone Rider has been making cowboy leather for many years but just recently moved into making carry holsters and working with Kydex. His skill allowed him to adapt very quickly I would say.

his quality is good, but not as good as Comptac or Crossbreed, and I say this with respect only to the softness of the leather.

however, for his price (last time I bought from him was about 1 year ago) of about $50, the holster is great for that price and having it in a week, rather than 4-6 weeks at the time for Crossbreed was great!

So I do also recommend him, but as others have said, he is not web savvy, he works via Hotmail and paypal or money orders if I remember right.

Sorry - wrong wording earlier, I should have said stiff not soft

My Shielded Holster has very stiff leather, and over time has not become softer.
Contrasting that to my Crossbreed and CompTac holsters, those were stiff at the beginning, but softer / more flexible than my Shielded is now, over a year later.

:iagree:
Like
Kholster http://www.kholster.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; starts out soft and comfortable, Rob Durham's "comfort carry" http://www.concealedtechnology.com/en/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; with a backing of horse hide and then a second layer of cow leather starts out stiff and stays stiff a long time... takes a while to get it broken in.

Stiff/tight grain/horse hide prevents sweat through better than softer cow leather; it's a trade off
I rarely wear hybrid holsters any more. (Got too sweaty hot one Summer and switched to single J-clip Tuck This 2 fabric holster, but I've never soaked through my Glocks, you either like them or not-I bought extras a couple years ago and may buy a case in case they stop making them)

Thanks for the explanation. The reason I am asking is that I have a Kramer MSP holster and the leather is extremelly stiff and is designed to stay that way. The holster paddle is molded with a curve to fit the waist so it doesn't need to be broken in to fit and become comfortable. So I guess the Crossbreed and ComTac holsters are made flat and need some breaking-in to fit properly.

I really was not a believer that this could possibly hold a gun in Place. Imho its way more comfortable than the crossbreed types. It allows some movement but not enough to affect a stable draw.
