WTB: M1 Garrand (DFW Area)
Looking for an M1 Garrand. Not looking for a collector's item, just something to shoot at the range. If you have one you'd sell or know of someone who wants to sell on, let me know. In and around DFW. Thanks.

Check out the CMP, it's the best bet to get a good shooter at the right price.

The CMP (which was created by the Federal Gov't) is absolutely the best, cheapest, and safest way to go. You can get a "Field Grade" Garand (not too pretty sometimes), that make great shooters for $495. No one else can touch that price IMHO. And, they will ship directly to you, no FFL required. I'm hoping to pick one up before a certain someone gets back from her business travel. It's gonna be a Christmas present.

Thanks for the posting the link to CMP. That was worth the price of admission tonight.
