Good choice, I almost bought one myself, but I personally have decided to remain with nothing less than 4.25" in my 1911 platforms.

Can't believe you haven't scored one yet.
I have seen them at the last two gun shows.
One coming up in ft Worth Saturday if you are in the area.

FYI. He doesn't want one with an external extractor though. :tiphat:

Why is that? I have shot an EMP in 9mm and really liked it. Felt just the right size for carry. What is it about the 4" barrel that you like so much?

Just ran across two EMP 9mm's on Texas Gun Trader in Houston.
I think the price is a bit high for used. I've seen new one's for that price.

Let's see if the link make it through.

I'm looking for an EMP 40.

I get SCAM ALERT!!! words on the website. As soon as I saw that I went no further. But I did click on the link you posted, and got pricing of $1,050. Phew. Great gun but out of my league. :tiphat:

I just noticed the scam alert at the bottom. They seem to have it on every listing. Maybe as a generic "caution" sign?

I've known two people to use this site to buy and sell. I've called on one myself, only to be 4 hours too late. As with any internet site, be cautious.
