CDNN's latest catalog is available for download now.

If you wait for a mailed copy, many of the firearms deals will be gone.

Not sure.

I have the last two from 2006 and the first, third, and fourth from 2007.

They all have handguns. I must have trashed the 2nd 2007 catalog.

What did change with this issue is that most handguns are no longer priced.

You must call to get pricing.

That's an annoyance and it keeps me from asking about many of them that I might have been interested in.

My reason for posting is that if they do have any desireable deals, they are always gone by the time the print catalogs are mailed.

No, you cannot walk in and buy something from them. Only by mail, FFL, phone. This was explained as necessary for security. I don't blame them either.

No handgun prices

#20

Post by Rex B »

I wonder why they eliminated printed prices on handguns?
I know that RRA recently announced a policy that requires dealers to keep their advertised prices above a set point.

Perhaps due to the recent federal ruling that now allows manufacturers to dictate retail pricing to their dealers?

CDNN Info

Post by glock76 »

I called CDNN to ask about a glock not listed in their catalogue. I then asked why handgun prices were not listed on their on-line catalogue. The gentleman reassured me that prices will be in the mail-out catalogue, but many dealers had called and complained about the handgun prices being available on the internet.

I guess cutting into the mark-up of dealers and resale pricing.

I bought a Glock 19 used from them with night sights and with shipping, Taxes and FFL transfer it was still cheaper than the used Glocks I had seen around Austin.

I have had many good experiences with them other than the limited supply of certain items.

Hopefully, CDNN will get enough negative feedback on the lack of pricing that they will restore the pricing.

I don't see how it would be possible to do it for this issue, however. I hope I'm wrong, but they would have to redo the already completed catalog.

Getting the print catalogs is always good, since I can review them in a more leisurely manner than the online. But the reason I started posting when the online catalog was available is because by the time customers receive the printed version, all of the good deals were gone.

I suggest all interested parties to sign up for both the email specials and the printed catalogs. Then you are notifed when the online catalog can be downloaded.
