Actions: (descending date order)
Description Comment Date Time Journal Page
H Left pending in committee 02/28/2011
H Testimony taken/registration(s) recorded in committee 02/28/2011
H Considered in public hearing 02/28/2011
H Scheduled for public hearing on . . . 02/28/2011
H Referred to Business & Industry 02/21/2011 434
H Read first time 02/21/2011 434
H Filed 01/18/2011

So if I read this correctly, the committee listened to it and now it is pending. Will need to make some calls and faxes this week, let's keep the pressure up until it gets out of committee!

Yes, the action now is to continue to call, thank the committee members for their support, and RESPECTFULLY ask that they help get this moved out to the Calendar Committee so it can be scheduled to go to the floor for a hearing and vote. The earlier it is voted on and passed in the House, the better opportunity it has to get through the Senate and get on their calender. :thumbs2:

UPDATE: Employer Parking Lots

#79

Post by Charles L. Cotton »

The hearing on HB681 was held yesterday in the Business & Industry Committee. The Bill was left pending which is the Chairman's normal procedure for all bills.

We need everyone to get back on the phones and faxes and politely request that HB681 be voted favorably from the B&I committee during the next meeting/hearing without any amendments. I cannot overstress the importance of keeping up the pressure, especially on the Chairman who gets to decide if and when the bill will be brought up for a vote.

If HB681 languishes in committee before being voted out, then it will get behind the budget and redistricting and it will not pass. Please, please answer this call to action!

Sorry Keith, I just saw this post.

Just finished calling all of the committee members and requesting a favorible vote soonest without ammendments. I really encourage ALL to do the same. I called last week and again today and it really only takes about 15 minutes to get calls into the entire committee.

Some of the staffers are saying that the calls have been coming in every day since last week. One staffer even told me how much of a pleasure it is to work for an NRA A+ rated representative... Keep up the good work!!!!

Would it be possible for someone to provide a link that would show the NRA rating for each of the B&I committee members?
