To bad the clerk didn't have a gun seems that would be the break you'd be looking for.

I'm not an expert, but I don't think this guy paid attention in robbery school. He doesn't bother to clear the jam. He also sticks the gun right next to the clerk and within easy reach for the clerk to grab it. A note or verbal statement that he has a gun would have been just as effective, cheaper, and would carry a lower penalty. Nice looking gun, though.
Once the clerk realized that this wasn't a life and death situation he did the right thing by handing over the company's cash and remaining calm.

Just one of a million reasons why you carry with one in the chamber.

Looked like a Taurus pt111 g2.
Always carry one in the pipe.
Luckily that bad guy didn't have the mind set. The clerk did a good job by staying calm.

I read that the police, acting on a tip, identified and arrested a suspect in this armed robbery. He was initially charged with "Felon In Possession" of a firearm. Gee...a prior felony record....how shocking...NOT. Hopefully the justice system will send him to the big house for a long, long time so he cannot further terrorize good folks trying to make an honest living.

On a side note, Jimmy John's has some great food handling standards...employee took off his prep gloves before touching the money.

Probably not - which is why he has a felony record and is still on the streets sticking guns in peoples' faces for money. I'm constantly amazed about the records that some of the BGs have -10,15,20 years jail time following a conviction and they seem to be back on the streets - and involved in another crime, in less than half of the time of their original sentence.

We don't teach the criminals about proper firearms handling, just like we don't teach BWW that they need a 30.06 in place of their stupid anti-carry sign for it to be valid.
