A disagreement between a manager and a salesman turned into a scuffle, police say, and the manager was shot in the neck with a semi-automatic pistol. Three employees witnessed the shooting, which happened inside one of the front offices.

Shooting your boss is a real quick way to get fired.

I've know a car salesman will stab you in the back, but shoot you in the neck?!?!

I'm always curious how people tie news stories to forums they post them in, especially without any comments. So, how is this shooting related to CHL discussions?

I also appreciate when no clue is given as to where it is.

I am wondering what it has to do with CHL, the story didn't mention the shooter had one.

I suppose I could answer "maybe the shooter had a CHL"
Or I could answer that if the manager or others in area had CHLs, they possibly could have pulled and used their weapons on the shooter.

But my real answer is none of the other categories said to me "post news stories here"

Maybe it would fit under "Crime Blotter"? Seems like its a good example of why folks SHOULD be legally armed. He only shot the manager, as bad as that is, but what if he had decided to continue?

In all honesty though, I never search the forum by category,I always have my view set to see all unread posts, and never (ever) look at the category it is in.

Well now you can start.

Hate to see that. On a lot of levels. If he did not have a CHL, he was already breaking the law before he pulled the trigger. But as people have pointed out, people who want to commit crimes don't worry about things like laws.

I have been to this dealership on many occasions, I pray for the manager and his family.

Will this be Quannel X's next "victim".
