This is a strange story. Deputies arrived at the home to serve a warrant to a man who lived there. A woman inside the house prepared to fire at them. A man who was in the house fired shots at the deputies.

One of the deputies fired back. The two people surrendered and were arrested. The man that they were looking for was not home.

Dangerous, foolish choice. More evidence to be found inside the house, I'd bet.

Probably, but if it was an arrest warrant only, anything else they found wouldn't be admissible. But they were probably dangerous and foolish people and got what they deserved.

I would think the house is now a crime scene and subject to search and any evidence/contraband to be seized as evidence for the states case against them.

After they starting shooting at the cops, I am sure that it is.

Wouldn't take 5 seconds to find a judge to sign that search warrant.

Really. All they had to do was a Safety sweep, secure the scene and call for a warrant to search. It would have been forthcoming in very short order. "rlol" "rlol"
