Noble and correct as that may be, it does not sell news print or air time.....and therein lies the problem.mojo84 wrote:The saddest part of all this is how there are more and more well spoken wise black men standing up and saying this race baiting and progressive enabling is the problem and is resulting in more damage to the black community than traditional white against black racism the progressive haters keep promoting. The police officers are just the prawns in this.

Can't imagine what it's like to be a cop these days. Thanks to all of you LEOs on the forum that do it.jmra wrote:Just popped up as a news flash on my phone from fox 4 news.TVGuy wrote:Where did you see/hear this?jmra wrote:Looks like the police officer has resigned.

I worry if this cop crucifixion continues at this pace, then we might see just how thin the blue line really is...

Re: Pool Party Mayhem in McKinney
Another politically motivated move thanks to the media and spineless department. He should have stuck it out if he had a choice. I've pulled for less even with my Sheriff standing with me. I'm afraid this will only cause LEOs to become hesitant with any use of force and will ultimately cause more brothers being killed. LEOs will fear losing their job, media ruining their reputation, going to prison, putting your family's life and safety in danger when some idiot on social media releases your home address. God help you if you're white and shoot a African American, the media loves those stories justified or not. We will still continue to serve and protect the very people who hate us, thank you to those who support us even though it's not the "in" thing to do.

Can't blame you for the frustration. I appreciate those of you who stick with, and can't blame those who quit.nightmare69 wrote: Sorry for the rant.

Not a job I would want but very thankful there are those who feel the calling.

Re: Pool Party Mayhem in McKinney
Sadly his resignation may have been the safest thing for himself and his fellow officers. By resigning and taking himself off the force the odds of an assassination attempt on him go way down, and the risk of such an attempt getting a friend in the same department goes down even more. To a lesser extent the risk of a retaliatory shooting of a Texas LEO goes down as well. So keep in mind this officer may have resigned for his own safety and that of his fellow officers.
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?
