She just sent us this link. Her brother is in his 70s. Looks like he used a .380 and his tactics could use some work, but this dude took care of bidnez!

Don't mess with old men, they'll just shoot ya. :fire

The only thing I see that was quesitonable was shooting past the lady that was walking toward the camera. She could have easily moved into the line of fire. Otherwise, his moving toward them and firing was the right thing. Glad it all worked out for the best!! :thumbs2:

Wow... pretty brave or crazy or both... one was carrying a long gun of some sort and the other a bigger handgun than him, but he goes to work with that little 'mouse gun'. Good for him.

I couldn't get the video on your link to work but found it on YouTube. Careful... someone dubbed in music and it has some foul language, but it shows the incident clearly. I'll post a link if it's ok.

They have updated the story at the link saying they don't expect any charges filed against the man for shooting the two bad guys.
Hours after his release from the hospital, Henderson, who talked about the pain he feels in his buttock and hip, said the plan was to “barge in, get the money and leave.” He said “he never expected anyone to be armed.”
“The gun was broken and rusty and wasn't loaded. Nobody was going to get hurt,” he said, standing with crutches.

That guy did great. Apparently those two fellows didn't expect any resistance and are much braver pointing guns than looking down the barrel of one.

How nonchalant! What good criminals Henderson and his buddy were. Forget the gun... it wasn't loaded, was rusty and broken. Lets focus on robbing the place-which is no big deal, in case you are wondering.

I'm glad he got shot, the arrogant crook. 70 old man, FTW!

Good deal the BG gun wasn't operational. Doesn't seem the .380, or could just have been shot placement, provided much stopping power. Seems if the BG had a working pistol he could have returned fire. Nevertheless, the anti-gun folks in that room may have second thoughts about CHL!

Props to him, too bad they lived to do it again.

However, he did chase the ever living crap out of them, even firing one off as the door was closing when they were running out. Clearly out of danger, but still on the hunt. Take that! lol

GG had the BG's pistol pointing directly at him as he opened fire - that must have been a scary moment for him.

I think the GG did more rehabilitation on those two punks than any prison 'program' could ever hope to do. :tiphat:

You know as I watched the video it seemed to me that the two bad guys looked like Obama's son.
