Keep calling her that, and she might share some other feelings with you.

Welcome to the forum, and best wishes for a speedy recovery for your co-worker.
bzuber56 wrote:Just jioned this forum on advise from CHL instructor today (took class today). The guy that was shot is one of my coworkers at the plant. Very close to home. I hate to see anyone have to go through this. It just strikes harder when it is someone close that you know. He works in my same department and his office is only 6 doors down from mine. Went to see him yesterday and prognosis is very good so far. His wife is OK and back on her feet with crutches. Please keep George and family in your prayers.

Great to hear - but only two felony counts of aggravated robbery? What about aggravated assault? Attempted murder?

This Travis Kanady is no stranger to crime. He was arrested for felony theft back in August 2011.

:cheers2: for a speedy recovery for the victims. Hope the victims complete their recovery with minimal permanent effects, and Mr Kanady gets what he deserves.
clarionite wrote:As I was putting on my King Tuck she said "You don't need that yet, we're not going to San Antonio till later" I told her I always carry. (she knows this) And she said, "Do you think you're going to get mugged in Boerne?" I told her that if I thought that I wouldn't go. But since I can't predict where trouble would be, I'd rather be prepared for it. She rolled her eyes and laughed, telling me I was paranoid..
Good on you for carrying anyway despite the wife's improper attitude.
clarionite wrote:There have been a few times where the situation gets a little uncomfortable, that I've noticed my wife either putting the back of her hand where she knows I carry, or leaning against me to check to see if she can feel it. So I know she feels more comfortable with it there when the situation gets uncomfortable. But she doesn't grasp the fact that we can't predict with the situation gets hairy yet.
I would not tolerate this behavior, both for the proxy-possession of a feel-good talisman and the fact this behavior could hinder drawstroke. "Gotta educate."

I'm glad to hear he's recovering but I don't think I will ever understand why some people have the urge to approach criminals in the act and try to have a conversation. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I'm a firm believer in Tuco's Theory of Conversational Priorities.

...couldn't find that by googling, but if it means use conversation as a diversion while reloading...I'll agree!!! when my light picks up his weapon...you won't be able to hear what he's saying over my .45...
