It was pointed out to me online that the largest mass shooting in the United States of innocents was the massacre at Wounded Knee in 1890 where around 300 men women and children were shot and killed.

Was this view mistaken?

Where would Waco fit in?

Assuming there was no tampering with this audio, it sure sounds like shots being fired from multiple locations. The timing of the reports doesn't sound like echo to me. But I'm no expert.

EDIT to ADD: Could be him shooting from differing windows from different angles of the hotel causing the sound to appear further way.

Would Waco be the largest number of men, women, and children BURNED ALIVE?

The news media was searching for the largest number of shooting victims in the US. I think they excluded both Waco and Wounded Knee because they were done by the government not 'amateurs'.

A top lawyer for CBS said she is “not even sympathetic” to victims of the Las Vegas shooting because “country music fans often are Republican,” when discussing the tragic mass shooting that occurred in Las Vegas late Sunday night.
Fired.

CBS fires vice president who said Vegas victims didn't deserve sympathy because country music fans 'often are Republican'
“This individual, who was with us for approximately one year, violated the standards of our company and is no longer an employee of CBS. Her views as expressed on social media are deeply unacceptable to all of us at CBS. Our hearts go out to the victims in Las Vegas and their families,” a CBS spokeswoman told Fox News.
But did CBS withhold her "golden parachute"? Enquiring minds want to know (the depth of their sincerity)!

Trump praised the police for their rapid response, saving lives.

From first 911 call till they exploded the door was 72 minutes.

Iraqi war veteran was below the room and told 911 where the shooter was.

He felt the police took to long to respond.

Eating him up that he did not do more.

If the security guard was shot
going down the hall investigating, due to the guy having cameras, maybe then Swat was then called and that took time.

CNN's news ticker said it was the deadliest shooting "in modern US history". I was wondering about the distinction, but I think they may have been allowing for things like the Wounded Knee massacre.

In 2012, there was a meningitis outbreak that killed 64 people and sickened more than 700 others throughout the U.S. The pharmacist responsible is facing federal trial in Boston. The former New England Compounding Center employee is being charged with second-degree murder and conspiracy, as well as other racketeering charges. Makes you wonder why that case did not get such scrutiny? Really? Maybe the liberals do not want to see "drug free zones" ?

Get ready. Even some talk show hosts I like are now in favor of "gun control". Sickening.

His brother said he was a multimillionaire former accountant, turned real estate investor. Like to gamble was a high roller at the casino. So the room could have been comped.

What if he was abducted by persons unknown, because he had the room they needed.

They set up the cameras so they knew exactly when to fake his suicide. Afterwards went into adjoining room and slipped out in first responders uniforms.

This took a lot of planning, a lot of time. This wasn't luck. Some of this guys friends would have noticed some change in him. Snapping to do this does not account for all the time and preparation.
Well I was wrong here. Filmed himself shooting everyone.

Curious as to who's on board with gun control.

Gun control seems to have actually worked in Las Vegas. It would have been insane, er, problematic to return fire at a hotel, but that doesn't seem to have been a problem. From what I've heard, the crowd wasn't armed, complying with event rules that prohibited guns.

The only non-LEO with a gun was the shooter, and how does a regulation stand up against what he was willing to do?
