NRA Membership Karma - Free-ish**

#1

Post by RoyGBiv »

I'm looking for ways to help push back against anti-gun legislation and anti-gun media. One meaningful thing to do, I believe, is help grow NRA enrollment. If 5 million can become 6 or 7 million in the midst of a crisis, I think that sends the right message.

To that end...... I'm offering to sponsor 6 NRA Friends & Family Regular (1-year) gift memberships ...

Here's how it works... If you meet the "caveats" below, simply reply to this thread with "In".

If more than 6 people are "IN", Random.org will pick the winners by post number at around lunchtime on Friday, March 23. If you're not chosen, you'll still have time to sign up yourself, in time for the March 24th "Money Bomb the NRA".

Caveats...
-- You are not an NRA-Member currently (lapsed memberships ok!)
-- You are willing to send me the information needed for member registration, via PM or email (see below for info required)
-- You promise not to give me any grief about the flood of snail-mail new members receive
(you can turn that off with a phone call to NRA after registration).

Here's the Free-*ish* part...
**-- You agree to renew your membership when it expires (at least one renewal, of course more is better).
-- No proof required, I'll take your word for it.

If you can say yes to all that, simply reply to this thread with "IN" (one "In" entry per eligible member, please).

The image below is the registration page for the gift membership...
If you're a winner here, the information I would need from you to process the registration is:
Required: First Name, Last Name, Mailing address <full address, including city/state/zip and apartment number if applicable>
Recommended: but not required: Email address, Magazine preference

Thanks for helping me donate some $$ to a good cause! :thumbs2:

If you just can't wait, here's the link to join now: https://membership.nrahq.org/forms/sign ... d=XR019416

RoyGBiv,

You sir, are a gentleman and a scholar.

And have inspired me to enter me Daughter and Grands at my expense.

They're all shooters, just haven't been members of the NRA, but soon will be.

I just enrolled 6 grandkids last night. Thought that might be a good start.

Excellent!

Odds seem pretty good given that, I believe, you're only the second In. Still have a week or so to go.

Honestly, I find it reaffirming that it's hard to find forum members that are not also NRA members.
I'm planning to give whatever might be left over to NRA-ILA. Chris Cox has been doing yoemans' work too.

This is an awesome thing to do. I haven't had the funds to be able to renew my membership in a while. Please count me in.
