Took the Life Membership plunge

#1

Post by Scott B. »

Had been thinking about upgrading to a Life Membership and the recent mailing on the price increase successfully pushed me into pulling the trigger.

Went with the $500 installment plan just to make it a little easier on the budget.

Did the same a few months ago. Wish I had done it sooner.

Good decision. Did that myself several years ago.

Welcome to the club. Fill out the forms in triplicate and hand the yellow form marked "do not destroy" to the director, and then give the secret handshake.

Same here. Mailed mine off this morning. I was planning to upgrade for a while, but after seeing it was going to jump from $500 to $1500, I also jumped on it. :cheers2:

I was just wondering how long it takes to receive acknowledgment of the life membership. I didn't sign up for the "free gifts", but it has been almost a month since I upgraded to the Life Member and haven't received anything, new card or anything. Has anyone else gotten any response since upgrading? I paid in full with my credit card and it wasn't on the last bill, but I got that bill right after I signed up so it should be on the next c/c bill. Again, just wondering. :confused5

I got something last week. Since you paid in full, I'd expect they're sending you something a little nicer?

Go here: https://www.nramemberservices.org/. If you don't have an account, create one with your member number. When you're logged in, it should show your level.

Funny thing my membership was going out this month so was going to need to renew, and got the email as well. Did the $25 a month life membership one. Was planning on doing it all at once around February, but if it is going up might as well get what I can now.
