Any new words on the proposed new indoor range in McKinney?

I see they have a webpage and there is a building platt out there but nothing new in the last few weeks. They are offering introductory pricing but I'm holding off until I'm sure this is really real.

What indoor range? -- where? -- link?

This is the first I've heard of a new range in Mckinney. Going to check out the website now.

They don't seem to mention a location. Where will they be?

Looks like they are on the East side of 75 somewhere. Heres some info from their facebook page

"We’ve slowly been led to the decision that we will be building a new building to house the gun range! We have our short list of properties all off of 380 near N. Redbud and Hwy 5 and hope to have a final decision in the next two weeks."

I didn't want to give too much of what I found because I did not want it to sound like a commercial. I am an IT guy who digs around. The Platt I found mentioned the street. Here is the proposed site PDF and if your look at the steet name, it shows "Power House" which is north of 380 off hwy 5 where the old 84 Lumber used to be.

Their home page states a planned opening this fall. I'm not familiar with how long it takes to get an indoor range up and running, but doesn't it seem unlikely they could open that fast if there hasn't been any noticeable progress?

I might make running out 380 to check on that place a regular side trip when I'm in McKinney.

Tell me where I need to stop and look... I drive through McKinney twice a day since I live out in Princeton.

if you're talking about the buidling going up on the lot across from the new theater then you have been mislead. There is a sign out there showing that it will be a surgery center.

Bullet Trap claims to be building a range in that area (somewhere). But as far as I know, they haven't broken ground yet.

i only pass by that place goin down the tollway. too bad, i was gettin excited, but frisco dosnt seem like the type of city to put in a gun range anyway . bummer!!!
