Has anyone taken the tactical shooting class at The Shooters Club? I am considering taking the class, but I was wanting some feedback first. They also offer self-defense classes which I am also considering. Here's the link to their site.

There's a lack of info on their site.

Who are the instructors?
What are their qualifications?
Only 6 hours?

I've been there since it's close to my office. Range is small.

I've taken a few handgun courses from Steve Moses, and he's a top notch instructor.
Also look at Tiger Valley. T.J. Pilling is also extemely good. They should be offering courses soon in Irving.
And though many don't like Len Baxley, I found him to be an excellent instructor also. He's at TDSA, and that's about 30 minutes south of downtown Dallas.

New here but I have to say The Shooters Club instructor is Tim Scally and he's a heck of a good one. The guy knows his stuff. The people who work at the store are friendly and helpful any time I go there. Not sure what some people base their opinions on but I have been there and they're a good bunch.

I've been up there to shoot a few times now, and I've always been extremely pleased with their service. In fact, I picked up a 1911 from them yesterday. Probably could have found it cheaper elsewhere, but I'd rather give my $ to folks that treat me well as opposed to some discount store that's going to push me out the door ASAP.
