It appears the old Colin County Gun Range had been taken over by a building materials supplier.

Armadillo Range in Nevada is pretty nice. It's outdoors, which is a plus for me. It's in Collin Co, in the Southeast quadrant just off 78.

Problem is... being on the other side of the Lake Lavon, it's a long drive for anyone on the west side of the lake because you have to go to 380 or 544 to get around the lake.

But I live in Lavon, just 5 minutes from it.

I go to the Gun Range Mesquite off I-30 a lot, too. It's on my way to work, but not terribly convenient to most of Collin Co.

I like the Bullet Trap well enough. Good people there the one time I went. I spent a good hour picking one guy's brain about subcompacts.

You have a good memory Wheelgun. We used to shoot at the Back Woods Traps when we first moved to Frisco. That was about 13 years ago. Loved B.W.T! I liked the idea I could just back my car up to the shooting lane and all my stuff was right there.
We now shoot at the Frisco Gun Club. Very nice facility and within 5 minutes of my house.
