Sounds nice... But due to crazy work hours I am not able to commit to their "mandatory volunteer service for range days and events" that is my main reason I have not attempted to join ARC.
Chl class for me and wife=$225. Chl application fees =$280. Chl gear for 2=more $ the previous. Moving from sheep to sheepdog = priceless

See another thread just started about what happened last night. I added a few details as I was there...
@blackgold - and others for that matter. After what happened last night, I needed to clear my mind and have a good experience at a range since I had only shot at a family ranch.. Anyway, I went to Best of of the West Shooting Sports just outside of Liberty Hill. Outdoor range for rifle and pistol, plus they have a tactical range. Nice owner. Met some nice people on the line. They do not rent guns, so I am hoping that there are less newbies that don't know jack about guns going there.
