Re: New Collin Couty Range!
A huge thank you for posting this info about Red Zone Ranch! My husband and I went to the open house yesterday, met Phil (great guy) and got to see the place and hear about the future build out plans.
We walked away a little bit poorer, but very excited about it! We're going to try to get out there tonight to shoot, and will be out there often!!!

Well, we were probably there about 90 minutes, but I think we were on the road back around noon.discoqueen wrote:I think we were there a little bit later than that....around 1 maybe? How long were you out there?sjfcontrol wrote:Were you there around noon? We were. Signed up too.
Did you get your paperwork back from Phil? I haven't yet.
Did you get access to the website signup sheet for reservations?

No paperwork back yet. He said he'd send us an email, but we haven't seen anything yet.sjfcontrol wrote:Well, we were probably there about 90 minutes, but I think we were on the road back around noon.discoqueen wrote:I think we were there a little bit later than that....around 1 maybe? Wish I'd known there was an open house. Read about this place on another forum sounds expensive but good
Re: New Collin Couty Range!
Thanks for the link and info. Looks promising. Any idea what range fees are for non-members? I see membership information on the website but not any details past that as to cost.

1) CCIDPA competitions
2) As a guest of a member - allowed once per quarter, I believe

Ahh did not realize it was members only. I qualify, so if I purchase the membership then there are no further range fees for the year?

Re: New Collin Couty Range!
Provided that you are not bringing in guests, or students. There is no additional fee for members to use the facility. (May be fees for IDPA meets, not sure.)EvilNuff wrote:Ahh did not realize it was members only. I qualify, so if I purchase the membership then there are no further range fees for the year?

Re: New Collin Couty Range!
Thanks for the clarification. It sounds like a great place but at $500 for a year there's just no way I can justify that. It is literally cheaper for me to pay for a hunting lease and get permission to just do target shooting there.
Re: New Collin Couty Range!
Got an email back from them today, pricing is still in the introductory period. 300 isn't bad for no range fees.
Think I might join, but the requirements are kind if weird. It reads as if you have to meet all 10
