I took my neighbors out to GSG last night. Their first time to shoot. We had a blast! (pun intended)

They do have nice facility,clean,well light,and the climate control is outstanding. The staff is very friendly and eager to help in any way.
They've only been open a couple of days and don't have a large inventory and I depleted that by one Mossberg Defender tonight.

Mommachatter has been wanting one for a long time. She saw , and held one at the range last night. I think she almost cried when she left it there. So I went back tonight and got it. She is one proud young lady! She is busy now calling everyone she knows to brag.

Of course we will have to go back out tomorrow so she can shoot it!

Y'all are crazy close to me, which is good... I drive a pretty far piece to get to a range I like, which means I don't get to the range as much as I'd like.

I emailed these folks and asked a simple question...and got a reply that put a smile on my face. They allow FMJ ammo at their range...some of you might know that some of the ranges in the DFW are FMJ unfriendly...so, even though it will be a bit of a drive for me, I will probably give them some of my money so I can use some of the FMJ in 5.56 I have here at the house...
