Exactly, lead is not a problem, lead combined with other stuff is, shooting ranges are not a health problem (except for the dust from the primer, but that drifts away) I think an animal is more likely to die from wandering on a shooting range getting accidently shot than die from lead posioning, and people don't just randomly shoot down ranges without looking.

I called TCEQ today and the report on the "Lead complaint" was no lead detected at any of the sites they collected (which was on my property that I allowed them to do). They will be sending me a complete report in the mail next week.

Team,

Looks like this Sunday is going to be a big one :hurry: I have tons of people making their way over. I like to cover a few items:

1. If you can bring table/chairs. I have about 6 tables, but I think we will need more ;-)

2. Bring target material, I do have some stands for cardboard, but bring a staple gun.

3. Bring drinks (beer is okay AFTER guns are put away for the day) and food.

4. All invited can bring friends :fire

5. All must be safe, and all must have fun! :thewave

I almost forgot to tell everyone what happend this weekend

I was testing my range :fire Sunday with friends and yet another neighbor north of me came down to say Hi. Find out he is a cowboy shooter and lives in the HOA and touches my north part of my land. He has no problems with the range and hates the crazy lady. He has been out of town for the past 3 months due to work and has been waiting to hear me shoot to run over and say hello :smilelol5:

He plans to be at the meeting tomorrow night to "support" the range and to make a point that he does not remember voting on the HOA fighting me.

Yet another neighbor that enjoys the range. He would like to come out this Sunday, but he leaves yet again overseas due to work on Tuesday.....

Sweet.......I will chip in and grab some burger stuff......However, unfortunately it will not be enough for all. So everyone please bring something to go along with it so everyone has enough to eat. I will get about 10lbs of HB meat, buns, and a bag of charcoal.
How many do you expect to show up?
