In life as in baseball, it is the number of times you reach home safely that count.

Re: Houston Folks: PSC Range Day after Christmas?
I'm out of town until after the 1st. The weather doesn't seem too conducive for a meet up. I made a meet up and skeet shoot up in DFW at Elmfork with some forum members up that way a few years ago with temps in low 30 temps, The company was warm, but the shooting was cold. Wind was fierce as well. Brrrrr! May I suggest having on later when it warms a bit? Of course in Texas we can experience all four seasons in a week.Pariah3j wrote:Any word on this?

I endorse the slightly warmer weather. Mid 50s at least.

January quickly filled up on the weekends for me. I'm thinking perhaps mid to late February? We can find a Saturday to nail down if this seems to work.

I haven't forgotten but work has gotten incredibly busy and haven't had any time to plan this. I'll see if we can put a date on the calendar soon.

Re: Houston Folks: PSC Range Day after Christmas?
I think that what should happen next would be that the PSC members who would want to attend this will have to agree on a date, and then they will have to "draft" the non-members to attend as guests.Pariah3j wrote:Is this still happening? Any ideas what weekend?
Us non-members would be at the mercy of what day the members choose and how many members would be attending.
for me, my weekends are pretty busy right now, so unfortunately there's a good chance that I won't be a factor anyway...

I agree - if we don't have enough PSC members, maybe we can instead shift it to the outdoor range in League City or one of the other nearby indoor ranges. Though I do want to check out PSC so I"m hoping it can be thereallisji wrote:I think that what should happen next would be that the PSC members who would want to attend this will have to agree on a date, and then they will have to "draft" the non-members to attend as guests.Pariah3j wrote:Is this still happening? Same for me, I have offered many times, no takers.Hot Dawg wrote:I go to PSC just about every weekend & I have put up an invite several times but no takers yet, if anyone wants to go just pm me.
Now however, my weeks are hugely busy and my weekends have been too busy doing my weekday stuff that I couldn't finish.
That said, I am game to choose some weekend day and offer to be one of the members to bring in a couple guests.
However, I am not in a position to be an organizer of the event, I simply dont have the time.
Another thing to consider, to whomever will be organizing, look at the PSC Calendar for other conflicts where there may be a lot of ranges out of commission for IDPA, or others

Re: Houston Folks: PSC Range Day this fall?
No, I haven't forgotten about this. Work has just been dominating my life and hasn't left a lot of free time.
I'd like to get this idea going again and see if we can put something together for the fall once it starts to cool down but before deer season.
So who's interested? Dates flexible at this point. I will check the event calendar and see if there are any free weekends without matches.
