My dad and him were coworkers at McKinney PD when I was growing up.

Call up his office, leave him a message or email him, and Im sure he'll get to you.

Interesting did not know this! He's already got my c&r info on file....so i suppose once nfa trusts start to require signature i'll check in with him.

Because Obama just passed Executive Orders that now requires every member of the Trust to do fingerprints, pictures, and CLEO signoffs. There was a 90 day grace period for comments to the BATFE but I think that is almost over. By the time he gets a trust set up it will definitely be over and probably be policy.
Could be wrong, but I don't think it's an executive order; I think it's a rule proposed by the BATFE, with the comment period ending, as you noted, on Monday: link to the Federal Register entry describing Docket No. ATF 41P.

I admit I really don't know much about this or all its ramifications. Haven't seen much discussion about it, either.

I still havent heard straight answers on when they will cutoff processing trusts.
I got an SBR in on mine, but didnt have the funds for the suppressor so I likely missed out

Re: CLEO NFA sign off in Carrollton/Denton County?

Just call up the Carrollton chief and politely ask and see where you get.
I've heard the new county sherif has been on record as being opposed to nfa items so it might not net good results

Also certain judges can sign
