TAM you would be correct on the Expat part. Born and bread Texan tho but I have been working overseas (Nigeria) for the pass 2 1/2 years for the oil and gas sector which is where the name comes from. The Annoyed Man wrote:Expat, first, welcome to the forum! You'll find that a number of us here are also married to CHL holders, and I agree with what you said about it bringing you closer as a couple. Speaking strictly as the possessor of well developed Y chromosomes, women with guns are hot. No two ways about it. But beyond that, each knowing that the other truly has their back is amazing, isn't it? It expands the partnership into new areas. I still want to be my wife's protector and provider, but the empowerment she feels in being able to defend herself translates into a more confident personality....and confidence is an aphrodisiac. By the way, my son and I own 4 AR15s between us, and I just built a fifth one for my wife a couple of weeks ago. We're going to be wringing it out at the range on Saturday.
Not too shabby for a couple of old farts who will be celebrating our 23rd anniversary next July.
I stumbled accross pics of your collection and I would have to say thats a mighty fine collection you have there.
